Notes:

  • Storage: Store these chocolate turtle cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. They also freeze well for longer storage—just be sure to layer them with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Customization: You can adjust the amount of caramel or pecans to suit your taste, or even add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the caramel for a salty-sweet combination.
