- Place one cooled cake layer on a serving plate or cake stand. Spread a generous layer of strawberry buttercream over the top.
- Repeat with the second and third layers, spreading frosting between each.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining buttercream.
- Decorate with fresh strawberries just before serving.

- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Bring to room temperature before serving for best texture.
