Storage and Serving
These Chocolate Pecan Coconut Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, you can freeze the cookies for up to 3 months. To freeze, place the cooled cookies in a single layer in a freezer-safe bag or container. To thaw, leave them at room temperature for a few hours or heat them in the microwave for a few seconds to bring back their soft texture.
Additional Tips
- If you prefer a slightly chewier cookie, bake them for the shorter end of the recommended time (10 minutes). For a crispier texture, bake a bit longer.
- You can substitute the pecans with other nuts like walnuts or almonds for a different flavor profile.
- If you want an extra chocolatey version, try adding more chocolate chips or even chunks of dark chocolate to the dough.
