Chocolate Orange Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 250 g chocolate biscuits (or cocoa biscuits)
  • 80 g melted butter

For the cheesecake filling:

  • 600 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 200 g crème fraîche or labneh
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 200 g dark chocolate (melted and cooled)
  • Zest of 1 orange (finely grated)
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa (optional, for extra chocolate flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

For the ganache topping:

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 120 ml cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For decoration (optional):

  • Candied orange peel
  • Chocolate chips
  • Thin orange slices
