Ingredients
For the base:
- 250 g chocolate biscuits (or cocoa biscuits)
- 80 g melted butter
For the cheesecake filling:
- 600 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 200 g crème fraîche or labneh
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 200 g dark chocolate (melted and cooled)
- Zest of 1 orange (finely grated)
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 tablespoon cocoa (optional, for extra chocolate flavor)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
For the ganache topping:
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 120 ml cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
For decoration (optional):
- Candied orange peel
- Chocolate chips
- Thin orange slices
