Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and set aside.

2️⃣ Mix the Filling

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped ham, and Swiss cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and ham mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated.

3️⃣ Assemble the Casserole

  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

4️⃣ Prepare the Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter until coated and crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.

5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbling and the topping is golden brown.

6️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
