- Fold in the Mix-Ins: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and about ¾ cup of the candy-coated chocolates. Mix just enough to evenly distribute them throughout the dough without overworking it.
- Spread the Dough: Transfer the dough to the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly into the corners using a spatula or lightly greased hands. Sprinkle the remaining candy-coated chocolates over the top for extra color and a bakery-style finish.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center looks set but still soft. The bars will continue to firm up as they cool, so avoid overbaking if you prefer a chewier texture.
- Cool and Slice: Remove the pan from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, lift them out using the parchment paper and cut into even bars.
