👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine ingredients: In the baking pan, add the diced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, minced garlic, and chopped onion.
  3. Add mayo: Spoon in the mayonnaise and mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated and well distributed throughout the pan.
  4. Bake: Bake uncovered for 1.5 hours, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the top is golden and bubbling.
  5. Rest & Serve: Allow the casserole to rest for 5–10 minutes before serving hot so it sets slightly and becomes easier to plate.
