Cheddar Bacon Deviled Eggs

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Boil the Eggs

  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water.
  • Bring the water to a boil, then remove from heat, cover the pan, and let the eggs sit for 10–12 minutes to cook through.

2️⃣ Cool and Peel

  1. Rinse the boiled eggs under cold water until they are cool enough to handle.
  2. Gently peel the eggs, making sure to remove the shells without tearing the whites.

3️⃣ Halve the Eggs

  • Slice each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise.

4️⃣ Remove the Yolks

  • Carefully scoop out the yolks and place them in a medium mixing bowl.

5️⃣ Mash the Yolks

  1. Use a fork to mash the yolks until smooth and crumby.

6️⃣ Add the Ingredients

  1. To the mashed yolks, add mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Mix everything together until well combined and creamy.

7️⃣ Fill the Egg Whites

  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg whites.
  • You can use a spoon for a rustic look or a piping bag for a more elegant presentation.

8️⃣ Garnish

  • Sprinkle paprika on top of each deviled egg for a pop of color and extra flavor.

9️⃣ Chill and Serve

  • Cover the deviled eggs and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!
