1ļøā£ Heat the Cream and Milk:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar over medium heat.
- Stir continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to steam. Be careful not to let it boil.
2ļøā£ Add the Flavors:
- Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the whiskey, vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
3ļøā£ Cool and Add the Mix-ins:
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, gently fold in the crushed candy canes and chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.
4ļøā£ Freeze the Frost Bites:
- Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds, filling each compartment about three-quarters full to allow for expansion as they freeze.
- Cover the trays with plastic wrap or a lid and place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
