Barbecue Bacon Pizza

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare the Dough

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to ¼-inch thickness on a floured surface. Transfer the dough onto a sheet of parchment paper.
  3. Bake the dough for 5–7 minutes, until it is slightly puffed and lightly golden.

2️⃣ Add the Toppings

  1. Spread a generous layer of barbecue sauce over the partially baked dough.
  2. Top with chopped bacon, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and thinly sliced red onion.

3️⃣ Bake the Pizza

  1. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

4️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  1. Let the pizza rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  2. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro or parsley for a burst of color and freshness (optional).
