Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with foil for easier cleanup.
  2. Prep the chicken: Slice each chicken breast into 4 long, thin strips, for a total of 8 tenders.
  3. Season: In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken strips and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Wrap in bacon: Wrap each chicken strip with a slice of bacon and place them seam-side down in the baking dish.
  5. Top with extra sugar: Sprinkle any remaining brown sugar mixture over the top of the wrapped tenders.
  6. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F / 74°C).

💡 Tips:

  • For extra crispy bacon, broil the tenders for the last 1–2 minutes—watch carefully to avoid burning.
  • Use thick-cut bacon for a heartier bite, or regular bacon for a quicker cook time.
  • Serve with ranch, honey mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.
