Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, 300ml water, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes until the rice is tender and fluffy.
Once cooked, set the rice aside and keep warm.
2️⃣ Cook the Ground Beef 🥩
In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and minced garlic. Cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking the beef apart as it cooks until browned and fully cooked through.
Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili flakes (if using), and stir until the beef is well-coated and the sauce is absorbed. Remove from heat and set aside.
3️⃣ Stir-Fry the Vegetables 🥦🥒
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of sesame oil or olive oil.
Add the mushrooms, red pepper, broccoli, and zucchini. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Stir in the remaining minced garlic and soy sauce, cooking for another minute until fragrant and the sauce has slightly reduced.
4️⃣ Assemble the Bowls 🍚
In each bowl, layer the cooked rice, then top with the flavorful ground beef and stir-fried vegetables.
Garnish with fresh parsley or coriander for a burst of color and freshness.
