Apple Butter Pie

Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures the pie bakes evenly and crisply. Make sure your oven is fully preheated before you place the pie in.
    2. Prepare the Pie Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of apple butter, 3/4 cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well combined. The apple butter brings a rich, sweet apple flavor that pairs perfectly with the warm spices.
    3. Pour the Filling into the Crust: Once the filling is smooth, pour it into your prepared deep-dish pie crust. Make sure the filling is evenly distributed across the pie crust.
    4. Bake the Pie: Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 45-55 minutes. The pie is done when the center is just set and a knife inserted near the middle comes out mostly clean. Keep an eye on the edges of the crust as it bakes. If the crust begins to brown too quickly, cover the edges with foil to prevent burning.
