Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla, mix well.
4. Add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
5. Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch).
6. Place on a baking tray and gently press the center with your thumb.
7. Fill each indentation with a small amount of jam.
8. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
9. Cool completely before serving.
