2️⃣ Milk Bread
Ingredients:
- 500g (4 cups) bread flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 250ml (1 cup) warm milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 egg
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Add flour, salt, butter, and egg. Mix and knead into a soft dough (about 8–10 minutes).
- Cover and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Shape into a loaf or rolls, place in a pan or on a baking sheet, and let rise again.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes, until golden on top.
